Mrs. Enid and Mr. Geoffrey Brian Mackey's story

It is our Golden Wedding Anniversary on 15th August this year. On that date in 1959 we Honeymooned for a week in Edinburgh. We have only been back once and only visited the royal yacht. We hope to come up this year and once again explore the town. We are definitely touring Scotland for the whole of June, travelling up the coast to Aberdeen, the whisky trail, Inverness etc. We visit scotland at least 3-4 times each year and never tire of the scenery and welcoming people.

I am very excited to participate in this unique celebration. I look forward to meeting more Scots from around the world! We're coming from California and will be joining our clan chief in Edinburgh, where there will be a clan tent. After the festivities we will then travel to George's estate, Finlaystone in Renfrewshire, for a clan gathering. We plan to be in Scotland for two weeks during which time I will be visiting with two cousins from Paisley and Ayr.

Silvia Evia's story

I visited Scotland for the first time this month, with my daughter and son. We spent one week in Edinburgh, attended the Military Tatto, and then one week driving through the Highlands. We were told we the first Latinamericans to visit many of the places. It was an incredible experience that I plan to repeat as soon as I can. Don't have a drop of scottish blood, but I've never felt so much at home away from home anywhere else. Caledonia has been and will be in my heart forever.

marlos@gmx.de's story

Since years I am fascinated of the history, the tradition and the bond of the scottish residents to their land. Although I never was in Scotland, my wife, my daughter and I (AT LONG LAST) are going on a short trip to Edinburgh from 12th till 15th of April! This visit will be the cornerstone of the next step I have in my head for years - I want to immigrate with my family to Scotland and be a part of the wonderfull community. In my heart I allways was a Scotsman! (Frank from Germany)
